Today marks a big milestone for Siftrock. We're celebrating general availability of our product, highlighting some great customer stories, and expanding our leadership team.
There are TONS of marketing technology companies, so reading any "disruptive-next-gen-SaaSy-platform launch" blog post you might ask: What is this? Why should I care? Why now? 🤔 We'll try to answer in both emoji and english...
What is Siftrock?
Emoji version: 📥 +🔍 🎯 → 👥 💰
English version: Siftrock works alongside your marketing platform to automatically discover new leads and surface opportunities by mining replies to your email campaigns. Whether your B2B marketing strategy is Inbound, Account-Based, or Kung-fu, email is always a critical channel. However, one key piece of email marketing has been ignored -- the replies coming back after each send.
When one of your leads sends an "out of office" auto-reply referring a colleague, Siftrock mines the new contact data and syncs to your marketing automation. When one of your contacts replies with a buying question, Siftrock finds that opportunity and routes it to the right person. When one of your customers has a "changed jobs" message, Siftrock surfaces that key moment and helps you take action. Using an automated process to intelligently manage every reply, Siftrock works behind the scenes and seamlessly integrates with Hubspot, Marketo, Eloqua, or Act-On. The result is up to 25% growth in your contact database, better two-way email marketing, and countless hours saved.
Why should I care?
Rather than pontificate about the product we built, we'll let our customers share why they care.
Peter Guagenti, CMO at NGINX, was an early adopter of Siftrock.
"We always saw hundreds of replies coming back after each email send. We saw valuable data in replies, but didn't have a way to turn them into something actionable. Siftrock made it easy to open up this new data source and hook into our existing marketing process. We've been able to discover thousands of new contacts and improve our marketing automation experience thanks to Siftrock."
Nichole Marsano, Vice President of Revenue Marketing at PayScale, was drawn in by the simple solution to a big problem:
"Our marketing technology stack is complex, but Siftrock has a refreshingly simple approach that easily integrates with our existing systems." Marsano saw immediate ROI by implementing Siftrock alongside Marketo, the company's core marketing automation solution. "Siftrock delivers high quality contact data and surfaces opportunities that we wouldn't have seen in the past. We've seen more than 5X ROI from the solution and saved countless hours manually sorting through replies."
Jessica Davis, Manager of Marketing Operations at Avalara has derived clear benefits by tapping into replies as a source of data and intelligence.
"Prior to Siftrock, handling replies was a manual process for our team and we couldn't effectively leverage the data. With Siftrock, our reply management process is intelligent and fully automated. It's become a 'no-brainer' solution and our favorite Eloqua plug-in."
Our customers include high-scale publicly traded companies like Citrix and Nutanix, high growth businesses like Payscale, Glassdoor, Avalara, NGINX, and Simply Measured, and agencies like NuGrowth Solutions.
Why now? The Rise of #ABM in #B2B
Account-Based Marketing (ABM) has quickly become the biggest buzzword in B2B. It's for good reason - 97% of marketers achieved higher ROI with ABM than with any other marketing initiatives according to the Alterra Group.
Most B2B marketers know their target companies, but struggle to identify enough contacts inside their target accounts and lack context about those accounts. We believe that ABM is an exciting opportunity, but also a complex category with many barriers to success. Having a truly simple data solution for ABM is increasingly critical.
Who are the new people? How will they help?
We've flown under the radar for two years - focused on customers and technology. Chris Hundley, former Optify CTO and EIR at Madrona, founded Siftrock in late 2014. He's been flying under the radar with great early success and now expanding his team and announcing general availability of the product to reach the next level.
Joining Chris on the leadership team is me (Adam Schoenfeld) as Co-Founder and CEO. Katie Ferris, Seattle technology sales veteran, has also joined the team as Director of Sales. Chris Hundley, the architect and visionary behind Siftrock's success remains Co-Founder and CTO.
